Help us get
off the ground
Buffalo Brothers is a startup brotherhood, and we're just getting going. Our nonprofit is in the works. Until it's official, your support helps cover what it takes to get started: forming the nonprofit, our first gatherings, retreats for dads raising kids with disabilities, and the book that started it all.
Every gift, big or small, helps us get going. Thank you for standing with us.
Please note: Buffalo Brothers is not yet a registered 501(c)(3), so gifts are not tax-deductible at this time.

Why we're building this
Every dad hits a season he can't carry alone. Mine came when our family walked through the hardest days of our little girl's life. I got through it because other people were praying for me when I didn't have the words.
Buffalo Brothers is how we pass that on. It's a brotherhood for men who run toward the storm, not away from it, and a place where dads raising kids with disabilities don't have to walk it alone.
We're just getting off the ground. If this stirs something in you, I'd be honored to have you run with us.

$8,500 to get us off the ground
Two milestones get us off the ground: becoming official and sending our first 10 dads to the mountains. Every gift moves us closer.
Make it official
File for nonprofit status so Buffalo Brothers can become a registered 501(c)(3).
Our first retreat
10 dads, 3 nights in the mountains. Dads put in $375; donors cover the rest, plus a scholarship fund so no dad is turned away.
A Guy on a Buffalo
Editing, design, and publishing. We'll share this goal once we have real numbers.
Covers one dad's share of the first retreat after his $375.
Cover the full donor share yourself or through your business. Let's talk.
A monthly gift that covers coffee and meals for first-timers at our gatherings.
Become a Founding Brother
The men who back Buffalo Brothers before it's official are the ones who build it. Give any amount monthly and you're a Founding Brother. As a thank-you, we'll mail you a Buffalo Brothers car decal and sticker pack.

Men. Dads. Wives. Children. Whatever you're carrying, you don't have to carry it alone. Let's run toward the storm together.
Prayer works. We believe it. In the hardest season of my life, I got through because others were praying for me. Now we want to pray for you.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Not yet. Our nonprofit is in the works, but Buffalo Brothers is not a registered 501(c)(3) yet, so gifts are not tax-deductible at this time. We'll share the news here as soon as that changes.
-
The first $1,500 covers forming our nonprofit: state filing and the IRS 501(c)(3) application. The next $7,000 sends 10 dads raising kids with disabilities on our first retreat, three nights in a mountain cabin. Each dad puts in $375, donors cover the rest, and anything extra goes into a scholarship fund so no dad is turned away. Monthly gifts keep our gatherings going. After that, we'll put gifts toward the next retreats and the book A Guy on a Buffalo.
