Nobody runs alone.
Monthly gatherings and retreats for men who run toward the storm, starting with dads raising kids with disabilities.
Coffee, a table, and brothers who show up
When the storm hit our family, I didn't get through it on grit. God showed up. He met me in prayer and in His Word, and He sent a few brothers who wouldn't let me walk it alone. Putting my trust in Jesus and standing on God's truth is what carried me.
That's what a Buffalo Brothers gathering is: men around a table, pointing each other back to Him.
Our first gatherings are for dads raising kids with disabilities. While we get started, gatherings are by invitation. Ask for one below and we'll set up a short call to get to know you. Builders and Father & Son meetups come next.
Food first
Coffee and breakfast. No agenda while men eat.
One story
One man shares part of his storm and who showed up for him.
Table talk
A few honest questions, like "Where are you carrying it alone right now?"
Pray in pairs
Then home on time. Ninety minutes, start to finish.
Three tracks. One brotherhood.
Each track gets its own retreat, its own stories on the Buffablog and, one day, its own podcast episodes.
Dads in the Gap
For fathers raising kids with disabilities. Rest, honesty and being refilled by men who get it.
Builders
For business men and owners. Sharpening, vision, faith at work and stewardship.
Father & Son
For dads and sons 12 and up. Adventure side by side, and passing on a faith worth having.
Dads in the Gap
Three nights in a mountain cabin in North Georgia or Upstate South Carolina. Ten dads and two leaders, Thursday to Sunday.
Each dad puts in $375 and gets himself there. Donors cover the rest, and a scholarship fund makes sure no dad is turned away over cost.
- ThursdayDrive up together, dinner, and the fire.
- FridayAn hour alone in the woods with a Bible and a journal. Small groups, then something with your hands: fishing, hiking or clays.
- SaturdayMore time outside. Worship and prayer over each man at night.
- SundayBreakfast, a send-off, and each man names one brother to call that week.
What your support launches
We're forming Buffalo Brothers as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Here's what we're building toward in 2027.
Dads in the Gap
10 dads, 3 nights in a mountain cabin
Dads put in $375; donors cover the rest
Builders
12–16 men at a hunting or fishing lodge
Men pay their own way and help fund the next dads' retreat
Father & Son
10 dads and 10 sons, with a range and water nearby
Families pay part; donors cover the rest
Covers one dad's share of the first retreat after his $375.
The donor share for all 10 dads, plus a scholarship fund.
Covers a month of gatherings: first-timers' meals and coffee.
Gifts are not tax-deductible until our 501(c)(3) status is approved.
